So we're forced to beg billionaires to box each other? HRC raised 2x what Trump did and still lost. The message matters. The agenda matters. Oprah has no message or agenda except contrasting with Trump's terrible attitude. RuPaul is a great contrast too, he shouldn't run either.

Sadly, I think our current system makes it nearly impossible for someone to run for President that is not wealthy. That said, I think Oprah’s name gets tossed around not so much for her money, but rather her strength and charisma.

I think platform/agenda matter the most in elected officials, but 2020 is a unique situation. We are going to need someone very strong to correct our course and also charismatic enough to inspire voter confidence. Jmho.

Yeah the only reason he did so poorly is because the dnc is corrupt and worked against him because he doesn’t take their money for bribes

Bernie Sanders will be 78 years old in 2020. That would make him the oldest President EVER by 8 years. And it’s a job that ages people hard and fast. I don’t know that that in itself is disqualifying, but it is a consideration.
