Kaepernick had a job, and had one more year on his contract but opted out because he wanted more money. Overall he just wasn't that good. He essentially banned himself

My lifelong enthusiasm for the NFL game - is now severely diminished - as a result of NFL owners insensitivity to inexcusable conduct by far too many police departments . I'm progressively weaning myself off my life long football ritual .
