I gave myself 90 minutes to get to a meeting on the train. It was scheduled to take me 35 minutes.
That was 90 minutes ago and I am now halfway there. It will end up taking me over 2 hours. It’s 6.5 miles.
Own this problem. Quit passing it off. It’s shameful
The elected official who truly fixes New York’s trains, which are now the worst of any big city in the world, would forever be seen as a hero in this city.
Just own it. Make it your thing.

Yo at least they have trains that reach all over the city, here in Atlanta we have a joke called Marta.

super easy to say you are going to own an issue as a candidate, whole nother thing to do it once elected and they are dealing with the rea world. needs to get fixed, but let's not pretend anyone is rolling in and fixing straight away.
I am in Bulgaria, a country just now emerging from decades of restrictive gov’t. Their subway is efficient, clean and safe. And cheap. Why NYC, can’t we do this?

I just returned from Hong Kong. The word "Impressive" doesn't even do it justice. Their MTR system is the one to emulate.
