Who has landlines these days? Most people under 40 don't have them. Polls are missing a huge chunk of voters. I don't even answer my cell phone if I don't know who it is, they can leave a voicemail.

Basically any pollsters doing landline only at this point are lazy profit-mongers who have capitulated to the fact that nobody answers their cellphones unless a friend's name pops up on the screen. The whole polling industry is in disarray.

I also wonder if they only use likely voters. Perhaps many people turned out who don’t label themselves as likely voters. This would be wonderful news for the general election in November. Just judging by the numbers who did vote… This seems likely.
