Officer Roy Oliver has been found GUILTY of the murder of 15 year old #JordanEdwards.
A bittersweet moment for his family and for all of us who've fought non-stop for justice.

A friend just wrote me, "There's something karmically powerful about a white man named Roy being convicted of murdering an African American teenager on the anniversary of Emmett Till's murder." I agree. Roy Bryant escaped justice on this earth, but Roy Oliver did not.
I'm more interested in the sentencing.that's where we'll see if true justice prevails(IMO). They could come up w/ some BS sentencing taking into account HIS pain, HIS suffering & all that HE'S lost instead of focusing on that baby and his surviving family. still holding my breath

Justice is sweet., bittersweet because we lost Jordan.
He thought he was going to get away with murder by hiding behind his badge.
Everyone needs to check out @GregAbbott_TX last tweet about the ruling. Either someone is about to lose their job or Abbott was trying to make a point.
