A friend just wrote me, "There's something karmically powerful about a white man named Roy being convicted of murdering an African American teenager on the anniversary of Emmett Till's murder." I agree. Roy Bryant escaped justice on this earth, but Roy Oliver did not.
as an old white guy, I can say openly that people like #RoyOliverTrial are nothing but #WhiteTerrorist thugs. They hell bent on intimidating #POC. We need to recognize this for what it is, and we need to unite to put a stop to it.
I hope we can all continue to work together to improve relationships and hold those that do wrong, in any position, accountable!
