Ppl in America should be able to send their kids to whatever school they feel is best for their child. Giving in is not a solution to a problem and if everyone thought this way we wouldn't have any kind of freedom at all.

Christian school Black and White, have a set of hair rules. I know first hand! At many Black Christian schools they want ALL the boys to have their hair cut very low. Stop playing these race games. It looks like many people that comment on this is fallen for this misinformation.
-
That's just the kind of mentality that gets black children shoved into environments designed to shape them to be submissive white supremacist society as "success" just so parents can live out their own "fake christian/white people accept me" mental damage.
-
Different schools different rules. ALL the ones I attended had that hair rule!
-
Not everything that is made "a rule" is ethical, or good in any way. Penalizing the normal hair of a black child is racist, an abusive, and if you can't see beyond "hair rule hair rule" then you have a problem with your ethics, religious values and personality.
-
Sure I do!!! Private school has their own set of rules. Nothing to do with race. It's not abusive for someone to tell you how to ware ones hair. You always have to choice of not sending your child, In the professional world, there is a set of rules we follow!

I wish people would stop being shocked at this sort of stuff. We know the score and we know what is being done to many Americans by other Americans is wrong. The school deliberately criminalized this 8 year old's blackness. Period. And that in itself should be a crime.

So where in the Bible is the Rule about Hair? I can only remember one in the OT that Jewish men shouldn't cut their hair; and the one in Paul's letter about women covering their hair in church + not showing off jewelery. So what Christian principle does this rule teach Kids?
-
it’s not about christianity, nearly every private or magnet school requires students to wear uniforms and to follow the dress code, which is strict.
-
I attendedCatholic school all my life. The dress code is racist. Curly hair was not allowed to be worn loose but straight hair was. Wonder why???
-
each school decides their own regulations lol

I don’t recall Jesus sporting a buzz cut
. How is hair now a requirement for access to education? Shameful. -
have you heard of private school dress codes? regardless of if it’s a religious school or not
-
Yes - DRESS CODES. Dress codes exist for a number of logical reasons: 1) reducing theft of expensive clothes - ie jackets, shoes, 2) giving students a level playing field so as not to distinguish students on economics. What threat is hair so long as clean & brushed?
