The officer that fired the taser should be charged with endangering the life of that child. WTF is wrong with these officers? How do they even justify that behavior?

Right! While the charge would only travel through the guy, what if he fell on the baby? I don't see in effort to protect the child.

Noticing no justification offered for the decision to use a taser in the first place. Law enforcement has no business seeking to "discipline" anyone but themselves. Ever.

This is awesome. I was told by a police officer so it makes sense he was taught constable on patrol. In old movies copper is common.

weighing in w/ reminder, here lone officer recently took down violent perp of mass vehicular homicide, no shots fired...even though he was TRYING to get shot. The way your officers crowd & scream at people is terrifying! And tasing just to control you? RIGHTS VIOLATION.

Demand more . Could hardly believe this video was real. Other countries do not have to put up with this behaviour from their law enforcement. You do not have to sacrifice rights for order. You can reign them in without anarchy. You are being lied to.

We've got a lot of former military filling out police ranks these days, and they certainly seem to bring that mindset to work with them. Coupled with all of the "Homeland Security" escalations over the years and we've seen an awfully unprecedented militarizing of the police.

Which has resulted in the mess you see before you today. We do need better, much better, but it is seemingly a multi-systems issue here. The cops are amped up on "Warrior" training (look that up if you aren't familiar with it. Horrifying stuff) because of all the guns.

So, we need to scale back on some of the hardware out on the streets, but so many people want those guns because they sense the general shift away from the established norms by our very establishments. So now we've got to fix cops, guns and the politicians.

And that requires us to talk about money and the state of capitalism in general. This is not to say the issue is impossible, far from it. Only that we need to focus on a bunch of different fronts to accomplish our goals.
