This how they think. Remember, the Black Panthers formed in the 60s largely due to what...police brutality. Here we are 50yrs later still being murdered in the streets by bigoted cops.

Not everyone. I did many years ago, was informed by a teacher (she was a Apartheid fighter married a activist from SA)that life is Not White only-9th grade it shook me up. And I became a social worker trying to fight racism ever since. Not doing good enough!
-
Someone got through to you and made you think. Even at a young age. That’s good. Glad you have been trying to do something. That’s awesome

I thought he sounded like a whiny little bitch screaming “Don’t hurt me.” Maybe he got beaten a lot as a child? And then the cop asks him if he wants to get sprayed. Sorry but that’s not be treated like you’re black. There’s no asking involved if you’re black.
-
Very true. All actions, no words.
-
It felt almost like a mockery of what black people go through and/or fear EVERY SINGLE DAY. He doesn’t and will never understand the “crime walking while black” because of his white privilege; there is and never will be a comparison.
-
This makes me, as a white person, feel very bad. I‘m truly sorry that you all get treated like dirt - what kind of a world are we living in. Hopefully one day this madness will stop.
-
Wish a lot can be like u Mags Uk
-
Thanks Isaac. There are billions think like me ...more just need to speak out and not leave black people to fight racism alone.
-

Police here (Spain) talk to you. They try to de-escalate a situation first. It doesn't matter what color you are. Even when things are heated talk comes first. I wish law enforcement in the US would take lessons from how other places do things.
-
I mean, that's what they're supposed to do. It's their mission statement but in reality in a lot of places in America, it's not even required for the departments to offer the proper training to do so and even some that do - it's on such a tiny scale in comparison to lethal force.

I’m white and only fifteen and live in a rural town in Louisiana and I still utterly believe that What he said was wrong. Police brutality should never have existed. Period. It shouldn’t be for blacks, whites, Latinos, arabs, etc..... no one should be treated like dirt.
-
Evan you are a very smart kid. Maybe you should go into politics because the world needs good leaders. Police brutality shouldn't exist. That's it. It's simple There's true power in giving a person dignity, patience and tolerance... It's called mutual RESPECT It creates peace.

Proof that as ignorant as they pretend to be to our issues, as much as they "all lives matter" it up, they know that there is a harsh, violent way we are treated vs them. THEY KNOW!!
-
So REALLY... do "
#ALLlivesMatter" -
All lives matter. But black lives MATTER TOO which is the point. And the fact that people treat us subhuman, police shoot us down in the street and as shown above, it is WELL known how we are treated in relation to everyone else?
-
The 'discrepancy' lies in the statement from the book "
#AnimalFarm"... "All are EQUAL, but SOME are MORE equal than others..." -
I'm well aware of George Orwell's works but I'm not quite sure where you're taking this...or your side. But either way, statement above still remains.
-
I think he's using the Orwell quote to further your argument, that a lot of white ppl scream at the top of their lungs that all ppl are equal, but when push comes to shove (literally in this case), white folks think they deserve better than black folks. Racism runs deep.

-
I won't generalize all white, but for some... the issue is definitely more than skin deep.
