A school who accepts and respects different cultures is equally important to the education of our children. 
God bless public schools! Let freedom ring! It is the fertile earth of a democracy and true equality. Everyone should send their kids to public schools and invest their money and time making them the best they can be. It’s our one shot at a level playing field in this country.

Thank you for posting this update. Schools need to stop tearing down kids over their appearance. His hair is part of who he is and he shouldn’t have to change that to get an education.
And yes, it’s terrible the kid wasn’t able to attend school but if the father read the rules he would have seen that before he sent his child
He prob saw the video of the kid with hair past his ears and thought no problem. But didn't realize the school only let's white kids do that

It’s a private school? He has to abide by he rules??? I went to private school and we couldn’t have facial hair, hair past our ears, or anything that wasn’t in the rules.... go to a public school and wear whatever you want... little white bits also cannot have long hair.
Sounds like he is in a better school. They would have likely been prejudice against him all year. Good job Dad staying cool and finding a school with heart.
