Is it my phone screen, or do others also see a skeleton in the upper left-hand corner throughout the video? Weird. Also, that looks like a crappy school with uncaring staff, so good news if young king gets into a better school! Sweet boy!

-
i see what you mean about the skull top left
. also hope that sweet boy with the beautiful dreads gets into a caring school that’s smart enough to concentrate on educating happy youngsters, not to be distracted by a kids hair.

Okay I’m exposing myself to a tsunami of hate. But. If the private school dress code is hair above the ears, why can’t the family just shorten his dreds? It’s a private school and they have weird uniforms and dress codes! This video is misleading to me.
-
Private schools exist purely to discriminate. It’s their entire business model. They’ve been lobbying hard to get public education money to stay in business, and right-wing politicians have jumped on to get “Christian” cred. If they take tax dollars, they shouldn’t discriminate.
-
Exactly. But a private school is where this parent enrolled his son. They have dress codes for outfits and hair. To make it racist is misleading. Cut his hair or move to a private school that doesn’t care.
-
Or they could change an utterly pointless policy, which, by the way, I saw flauted constantly at the 4 Catholic schools I attended 20-35 years ago. Maybe you really think Jesus had a buzz cut. Or cared about that. People’s values and priorities never cease to amaze me.
-
Private Christian schools have free rein in how they teach and discriminate and nobody regulates them. Only we the people can refuse to enroll our kids. No money no private school.
-
Except when they get vouchers to enroll public school students, which are paid for with tax dollars that they’re stealing from the public schools, thanks to politicians pandering to religion. You keep overlooking that. They don’t want to pay taxes, but they want public funding.

But Joel Osteen needs a bigger house

Put the other school on blast for discrimination. Thankful for good people in the world! That's how you meet a need.

The video. I have two sons his age. They would never be treated that way. I am donating to get this beautiful child in a better system than that FL school. Fucking ugly human beings in the world, but some of us can help to make his world a little better.
