This is kind of like saying that a guy whose attended Nazi rallies will suddenly face condemnation for using a Jewish slur. Everyone already knows he is a racist. It's down to whether people care. And those lines have pretty much been drawn already, too. Sadly.

The tape would add more fuel to the fire, sure, but Trump has proven over and over that he is racist, with actions and policies as testimony. There is so much fuel right now that the Trumpty dumpster fire won't go out any time soon.

I would hope so but I don't think it will make a difference. If it had hit soon after Access Hollywood tapes, I think it would've. Ppl are used to his disgusting slurs now.

Please, Trumps base would love him even more for it while the media would be easily dismissed as "fake news". I honestly think an n-word tape would help, not hurt him.

Perhaps, but I suspect they'll move the goalposts, suggest it's out of context, he's not the only old white guy to utter it, etc. The base who still supports him at this stage is at minimum indifferent to his racism.
