What’s are your ideas for fixing the high crime/highly policed neighborhoods in cities?

I'm a lifelong Chicagoan. It's drugs and guns. Talk to the teachers. 7th graders walking around with $1400 cash in pockets from drug sales. How's the regular little part-time school job gonna compete? The innocent get caught in the crossfire.

Though, the schools are severely over crowded now. They are canceling sports, after school programs, art and music programs. Yet, you can spend millions on rocks and pictures water falls? They tear down the projects, just to build "nicer" high rises in their place. You think

The people they made move south can accord those now? Nope. Chicago is already severely segregated. Now we have modern day gentrification smh.
