Shaun, why do you think in a league where the majority of the players are black that we're getting so few guys protesting? They don't need the money. I know they gotta care, I'm just super confused why so few are standing up for @Kaepernick7 ?
-
-
-
They don't want to lose their careers. It's not easy getting into the NFL.
-
I get that, but if they got together, THERE WOULD BE NO NFL. So they'd have to back down, right?
-
You're right. There's power in numbers. If entire teams rallied behind
@Kaepernick7 then this banning of him from the NFL would be ended and they would all be allowed to protest. They are taking orders from the President, so they are against@Kaepernick7.

I stand with Kaepernick. Stuff like what happened in this video (cop's name is Jody LeDoux) needs to be stopped at all costs!pic.twitter.com/Bs42plpVBd

@dweaver6 's the cop's mugshot. Spread it around to as many people as you can. He worked at the West Monroe Police Department in Monroe/West Monroe, LA. Never travel in Ouachita Parish or any Louisiana providence.pic.twitter.com/c2o0gahZkcThis media may contain sensitive material. Learn more

That’s why I won’t be watching this season ownership and management seems real fake the only see the players as their PROPERTY

It’s not blackballing, it’s simply the baggage isn’t worth their level of play that simple. No doubt Kap is good enough to be a back up, but who wants the media circus and distractions that come with it? It’s not that hard to understand.
-
So you're telling me that they have more baggage than a guy who has DV case pending, another who was out of the league for 3 yrs b/c he couldn't stop smoking weed or the other guy who's keeps getting looks but is a party animal & hasn't played in 2 yrs besides a CFL game or two?
-
It’s not that much different than Tebow, you’re telling me he wasn’t good enough to be a back up QB? But with the media circus surrounding him teams didn’t want it. QBs are different they get a lot more media attention. If Kap was a very good starting caliber QB he’d have a job
-
I get the comparison with the traveling everyday media but Kap is 100x better than Tebow. Also, half the league thought he (Kap) was a starting QB but wouldn't sign him b/c of fan backlash due to the false narrative of the kneeling being about the flag/vets
-
I see your point and I’m not a Kap hater or against what he did. I think it’s his right. In my opinion it’s just simple a fact of production not equal to baggage that’s it.

Stills said, “But I think a good first step 4 us as a league would be acknowledging what they’re doing 2 Colin Kaepernick and Eric Reid. You can’t say as a league that you support the players and the protest and then blackball the players that initially started the protest.”
