I hope both NYU and Shaun can help fix a broken system that allows a false report to get to this point. Social workers are already burdened with unmanageable case loads, this false report is taking them away from kids who really need help & is an unjustified intrusion

Outrageous! There should be consequences for filing a false report. This is no different than calling 911 because black people are Sitting in Starbucks Grilling in the BBQ section of the park Swimming in their neighborhood pool Requesting better service at iHOP Cutting grass

Unfortunately anyone can pick up the phone and call ACS for bogus reasons - this has to stop! Using the agency for false reasons takes away from some child who is actually being abused and in dire need of ACS’s help. Sorry this happened- hope that person is outed and arrested

Good luck! I've got a family member who had something similar happen. He has no power, no means and is an easy target - and isn't allowed to be alone with the kids during the "investigation". They mean well, but when they let baseless accusations win...fail.
