It's honestly not surprising. You do so much amazing work to advocate for justice, of course people are going to come after you. It's not acceptable, those people should be the ones charged.

I"m sorry. The system is so understaffed as it is and for someone to make false reports adds to the strain and increases the chances of a child who is truly in danger is overlooked and is hurt or worse (we've seen it happen to often).

Had something similar. My eldest passed away a while ago. My youngest went back to school and someone reported to Children’s Aid that he looked depressed & suicidal. Yeah, we really needed that in our lives right then. We support your family Shaun!

I'm truly torn. I don't think anyone should be allowed to make anonymous reports. They should have to leave their name & should face consequences if false reports are made. However, for each child's sake all reports have to be investigated. Regardless, hope u keep up the fight
