My God. Just had a chance to hear the anonymous complaint against my family that was filed with New York Child Services. The person clearly has never even been to New York. It’s laughable. They think my kids play in a front yard. We don’t have yards for miles where I live.

The person who made this complaint has never seen me or my children. They use the wrong names and descriptions and mannerisms. They literally said I am giving my children illegal drugs and that my 9 & 11 year old children walk around with them in the open.

OK, Public defender here. GET A LAWYER RIGHT NOW. Period. Stop any other thing you are doing. Get someone who has experience with CPS, because this is a true rabbit hole and YOU NEED AN EXPERT. PLEASE.

It’s so unfair. I have a friend this happened to and it’s scary to think how easily a person can ruin another’s life for no reason.

It’s kind of interesting you haven’t heard of this kind of thing before. It happens quite a lot to people who have no ways of fighting back. People call child services on people they don’t like, ex boyfriends or girlfriends, etc.
-
Happened to me. The police went to my sons school and interviewed him and didn’t inform me until after. And yes, the case was declared unfounded.
-
Unfortunately it does happen and social services must investigate! Ugh I can’t believe someone did this to you and your family.
-
No. Without evidence, investigations from a phone call are an invasion and breach of constitutional rights.

If abuse claim, photo/video or visual citing by on-scene witness, court order, THEN interview with medical doctor AND counselor/psych.
-
That's not at all how CPS works. This is horrible, but as others have said, it's very common.

False accusations aren’t nice now are they? I guess it’s true what they say; What goes around comes around. Also if you haven’t abused your kids then you should have nothing to worry about.. right? If you haven’t done anything wrong then you should want to cooperate.. right?
-
"What goes around comes around." That's not a normal response to something like this. That's something that someone who has falsely called CPS or committed swatting would probably say.

He's a trump bot so anything's possible.
