Nah - she was in the wrong in that situation. Franken was as good a social change advocate as we had in Congress, and for him to fall on his sword for such specious and opportunistic accusations was a damn shame.

The HuffPo article he linked to specifically discusses support for Gillibrand in 2020 and he asks us to stand with her. Ambiguous at best; that's why I stated I wouldn't go after her re: Franken, but am not defending/helping her for potus 2020 or any other office candidacy...

Right, the same way the so-called "grassroots" stood with Bernie in 2016 at the detriment of the democratic party. I'd rather see more Al Frankens in the Senate than Kirsten Gillibrands. Dems would get more done if more of the former were seated in Congress and the House...
