Hi Amanda: We have hundreds of cameras across the city in parks and on streets. We just added more cameras last year and are adding more this year. Locations are determined by the police department and city council requests. The City is looking at cameras for Pan Am Park.

Hey Shaun - the LBPD is working hard on this case. It’s tragic and has been horrific for the community. The Taft family deserves justice and everyone needs answers.

Let me set the record straight.
@LBPD refused to investigate this as a hate crime. A full month passed before they canvassed the neighborhood & only after the community set up their own canvass. Community canvassers were horrified at how many ppl didn't even know about the murder -
Key witnesses, including his family members, were questioned briefly at the park but received no follow up or second interviews. The family deserves justice and has not begun to see it
