I‘m sorry, but naming and shaming is wrong! I’m glad to live in a country that protects peoples rights to dignity. Nobody can publish photos or videos without consent! If someone insults/assaults you, as this lady did, get witnesses and report her to the police. It works fine.

That doesn’t work in this country
-
This country has a long history of naming and shaming. Just consider social media videos as the modern equivalent of the police blotter.

that part

"people's rights to dignity"
-
Right? I didn’t see any dignity on that video...
-
True. It was an answer to
@therealjd70 's tweet above. -
Oh I got that you were being sarcastic and completely agree with you... I was floored that someone would have said that about this or think even for a second that it applied...

Shaun, what the hell. In what world do people think this is acceptable behavior? Makes me SO angry!
-
White privilege

-
Twitter really needs a “dislike” button.
-
Agreed! Twitter definitely needs a "Dislike Button"!!
-
Gotta be careful, though. Would have the same problem that Facebook ran into with the angry reaction. Ppl would wonder if you are disliking the lady’s behavior, or if you’re disliking Shaun’s posting of it and/or comment.
-
Why does social media have to be so difficult?
-
I'm w/you.
-
Her head would be thru that wall...

1/2 it is my belief that these vile, ignorant, stupid, inbred, degenerates are networked and acting on the directive of a white supremist playbook to incite chaos/discord. Be smart, this is happening too often and graphically dispersed. They are feeling emboldened for a reason.
-
2/2 it is imperative when encountered that there are witnesses that can support and corroborate any justification for defending yourself/family. Spitting on another human being is beneath human dignity. I don’t condone hitting a woman. In this case I would understand.
#IJS -
Although, I abhor this woman's actions, hitting her would then land you in jail for assault. I think we need to be careful out there when dealing with people like her who's behavior is appalling, but these videos show everyone what is going on. I hope they help curttail others.
-
I agree with everything you said, I can’t say how I would feel if someone spit on me b/c of the color of my skin. I’ve told my father (RIP), I don’t believe in my heart I would have lasted in the south during the civil rights movement. Not passive enough to be beat/spit on.
-
I don't know how I would feel either, I have been attacked before, but for different reasons. I worry though that retaliation could backfire on you and you be the one in trouble. I totally understand the anger though and hope that this never happens to you Be safe please!
-
Thank you I will. You as well.

I just saw this and it made me think this is how it needs to be all the time!https://twitter.com/MuslimIQ/status/1023277841243361285 …
