I was going to say the same thing in principle. It’s so damn true!!!!They don’t see our children as children. This would never happen in the burbs. They would show those kids compassion and comfort them! And if it did happen it would be WW III!!!!

I rock with you bruh but your wrong on this one. Teach your kid how to act period not only do you dont lunge @ at a Cop you dont lunge @ any adult. To many excuses made for undiscipline ass kids Could it been handled differently sure but I understand.

Agreed. I saw the bodycam footage and the kid lunged directly at the officer. They put him down, calmed him down, let him go and even let him say goodbye to his father and take his phone. He wasn’t arrested or cuffed. I think this was handled appropriately.

The only thing is I believe this child was on the autism spectrum and was really freaking out. The adults there should have gotten him in the house, but they were too focused on watching the scene than the child.

Truth... he had pushed the cop into the car and the cop had grabbed him and picked him up into the air. The kid was kicking him and the car and that is when the cop brought him to the ground. I think if it had been a white kid and he came at him it would have been the same.
