You do realize that we've been talking about Universal Health Care since FDR right? Wait another 80 years? "Far left" policy such as Medicare for All, $15 MW, and tuition free college are the mainstream.

Yep that is why Dukakis, Kerry and Hillary were all elected president. Someone give that fool a history lesson, last 3 dems elected as POTUS were seen as outsiders I.e Carter, Bill Clinton and Obama.

No kidding right? the dems have been courting disappointed conservatives, rather than marginalized communities. The left has had a few small wins in the dem party lately, but i feel like there are a ton in the media that are fighting to keep dems as the 1980's GOP.

I would like to gain some ground rather than losing. I agree that the ideas are not that far, however, we need to stay toward middle. We don't want to scare away independents. We need a chance to show what we can do and how we behave w/o an obstreperous congress impeding
