Every police officer in America should be wearing a body camera. However, that is step 1 in a probably a 10 step process in actually making that footage matter. Cops shouldnt decide when the camera is recording...and the footage should never be "lost"....that should result in an automatic indictment

Agreed. Surveillance cameras are everywhere and people know how to cover that footage up when necessary. I assume covering up footage could be just as simple for officers’ body cameras as well.
