No...not perfect but nothing is... after you tore it down.. your replacement would not be perfect either.... I think in the age of tRump we are seeing areas where improvements and reforms are needed ... But for now she seems to be holding up pretty well.
I have absolutely no faith in America's justice system. None at all. It needs to be torn down and rebuilt. Where we often disagree is the "how" of this. I have a family member who is a part of the justice system, who sincerely believes that what we have is beautiful, but that perfecting it is a necessarily slow and ongoing work by design (to prevent sudden destabilizing changes while allowing necessary ones like Civil Rights).

Someone called in a complaint on a black 13 year old boy, Jaequan Faulkner, who opened a hot dog stand to pay for his school clothes. The city of Minneapolis didn't shut him down. They helped him get a permit and got him more business.

A properly functioning justice system is supposed to prevent our biases and human stupidities from influencing justice decisions. I agree that massive changes are needed, but I'm at a loss for what would fix it because I have very little confidence in humans.
