This is completely reasonable. Since the Klan days, racists have operated in the dark, and benefited from anonymity- which protected them and made them seem more powerful. Exposing them in this way takes away their power.
In the United States, the justice system was not built for us. So when we need it to hold men like this accountable, we're on our own. Bigots want to be bigots while trying to discredit their target by asking for proof, etc. Then when proof is provided, they want to become angry and say that they're going to sue for invasion of privacy. Solution = Don't be a bigot or keep those feelings to yourself!
