Even so, she’s got to learn not to hand gas cans to arsonists. That doesn’t mean she concedes anything. It means she’s got to remember she’s elevated to a national stage where her words could not only sink her ship but sink the ships of many other democrats at the same time.

Speaking out for Palestinians and against the Israelis shooting them down isn't handing gas to arsonists. This idea that the truth can't be spoken is what has gotten us into this mess.

I DEFINITELY believe we should always speak the truth AT ALL TIMES. I’m saying her platform has a much brighter light on it than others. What she says, and more importantly, how she says it carries weight. Not all districts are as blue as hers. Turn off moderates, we keep Trump.

Just like you felt ignored in 2016 and many protest voted in response, if we make the same mistake there, they’ll do the same. You won’t ever get 100% of what you want every time, but you do run the risk of turning off needed votes if you continue to say their views don’t count.

Your premise is wrong. 90 million eligible voters sat out 2016 because they reasonably thought neither candidate would change the trajectory of their lives. @Ocasio2018 and anyone else willing to speak the truth can change that, but not by appealing to some imaginary "moderates."

You’re proving my point. There are other views than your own. You can’t speak for why ppl stayed home, but you can discourage others to do it 2018. My views run the gamut, & I’m open to hear out others. You on the other hand push them away being inflexible. We lose that way.

Ignore the economic data. Ignore the right-ward swing of the Democrats. Ignore the declining numbers of people who identify as Democrats. And continue thinking it's all just coincidence and those people living paycheck to paycheck are just scared of scary "socialist" policies.
