Executions are highly valued in Texas. Almost as much as lynchings.

As far as the death penalty goes, it’s barbaric and unnecessary. As long as it exists the innocent will fall victim to it. This man dying will serve no purpose other than revenge that no one wants. The death penalty needs to be confined to the history books.

while people are capable of compassion in the darkest of days, the state will continue to grease its wheels of murder. you're right @ShaunKing - this is gross.

Until he brings his victim back from the dead, he hasn't "made amends." The victim's family is not the victim him/herself. He deserves to die. Good riddance. Or, maybe he could move in next door to @ShaunKing or @RoArquette ? Maybe babysit your kids?
