All I can say, is that my family and I are absolutely committed to calling out this garbage at every turn. Behavior like this has no place..

I have to be honest these incidents along with many other things are making me have a strong disdain for white ppl. I can say when white ppl speak up and become allies i feel a little better about the world. It makes me realize its not all of them
-
It definitely isn’t but white silence is deafening. We (white people) MUST speak up. These are kids and I cannot imagine how traumatized they and their parents are
-
Many white people are speaking up...the ones who are not, they never will.
-
We don't all yet seem to realize that all boats rise or lower with the tide. That is, white people suffer when systemic racism exists and when personal level racism is enabled through silence. We all pay,

Beyond the outrageous response of police officers, aren't there laws against misuse of the 911 system? Why aren't the racist white callers being charged?
-
This is a sincere question. If police officers have 911 operators telling they're responding to a violent situation where guns/knives are in play, their adrenaline is already on overload when they arrive.
-
The police should be trained in de-escalating these situations. But, the whites who made the original 911 call set everyone involved up for serious harm. The 911 callers should be charged. They should be prosecuted in very public trials.
-
Any local prosecutors, local police chiefs and local politicians should be publicly engaged in the misuse of 911 and how it impacts public safety and officer safety.

I not sure which is more depressing, the proposition that this has always been going on but was simply unreported, or that this is a new development. The damage this does to a young person's psyche cannot be overbooked. Shameful.

By unreported I mean by the media, to be consumed by the masses. Any person of color knows exactly what goes on out there. I agree though that it's cameras everywhere and the internet that have been the catalyst. Also, passive aggressive is a bad look for a man.
