Every Republican whose political power depends on Trump's approval exalts him like a court jester extols a king. It would be almost amusing to watch them debase themselves if it weren't so horrifically creepy. Bits like this read like lines of dialogue in a science fiction story.

Yea, that was like his third sentence. And told me everything I needed to know about the way he’d adjudicate.

This would be my first question for the Judge during his confirmation hearing: "Why did you openly lie at your selection announcement?"

And, apparently, he was in on the fix. He knew that he was the choice of Kennedy, who himself had conspired with Trump (who got his $1B loan from Kennedy’s son at Deutsche Bank) on this whole handover of power. Of course, Kavanaugh’s against the prez being indicted.

I said the same thing...that line, and the one about being “humbled” is when I knew he was lying. The only thing I liked about watching this last night was seeing Brett’s wife; she’s clearly not a fan of this @POTUS
