If this was a black or Hispanic person harassing a white person. That office would take action immediately. But when she ask for help from a man who is clearly harassing her and being racist. The office walks away. Talk about white privilege.

The video even showed her brother also g the guy to step off and than the officer got involved because he spoke out. This is what is wrong with police officers. If u can't protect everyone than u shouldn't be a cop.

This woman showed such composure in a dangerous situation. Do you happen to know where this took place? I'd like to register my complaints with the police dept for their officer's lack of action.
-
This is a Cook County (Illinois) Forest Preserve.
@FPDCC is how you reach them.

*sigh* I’ll say it, as I’m sure many others have said (or thought, but got tired of stating), imagine the roles reversed here. There’s a white woman sat down being harrassed for wearing MAGA clothing, do we think she’d have to repeatedly back away or ask for police intervention?!
-
Honestly, it depends on the cop. A lot of people are against the MAGA stuff. But law enforcement is supposed to try to stay neutral.
-
He was in her personal space. I can't imagine any man -- law enforcement or not -- staying neutral.
-
*nods* Its not about taking political sides, she was being menacing by a man in a public space and asking for the officer’s help. It’s not political to prevent a man from menacing a woman or to respond to a woman’s plea for help. There’s no excuse for that officer’s inaction.
-
I agree. I meant that some people do let politics interfere with doing their job. Or just being a decent person.

I was a cop for almost 20 years...that cop is worthless. He should stepped in and helped.
-
Wanted to hear from an officer if that’s normal to just watch thank you
