I get so many death threats that my security team advised me against regularly & predictably going to the office @theintercept.
When I leave my house my wife & kids regularly hug and kiss me like it could be the last time they see me.
We tripled my life insurance just in case.

And the media gives them a voice, the politicians give them legitimacy & power.

It's deeper than that. The media itself it white men grappling and not grappling with their white male status evaporating. So are politicians actually. Men themselves have been confronted with what maleness plus guns or privilege to murder means.

Precisely that. It may not be one directly, but at its core, it was. Any advocate for change and equality was killed. MLK is the best example for this. Then once you're long and gone they praise you on how you protested non-violently. I pray for Shaun's safety.
