Charges are never enough. We too often know that the majority of these officers get off. They have a powerful organization behind them and courts tend to side with LEOs.

I won't deny that being a huge problem. The whole justice system is corrupt. It's not designed for actual justice. It's designed for purely punishment. Those that are part of the system either tend to forget that fact or choose to ignore it. I'd bet the latter.

Why would a new officer that was just sworn in be on the beat with a weapon? Maybe they need to investigate the Department too.

Exactly this happens all the time. Bad cops get fired in one city and rehired in another one! This is a nationwide policing issue!! Once they are fired they should never be able to wear a badge and carry a gun again!!!
