Unfortunately, he's right, and I have a bad feeling that a lot of people are going to regret this particular choice, in a great many ways. Crowley was a decent man, a good politician, and a reliable center/left vote in the House. We need more of those, and fewer purity leftists.

Actually, the tired old white man philosophy of governance is over and done with. By the time 2020 rolls around, the majority of congress and the senate will become woman dominated. It does not matter what party you belong to, women will rule DC soon enough!
