I’ve been telling myself the same.. looks can be so deceiving. I’ve seen clean cut, properly dressed and educated folk to be so bigoted and a Harley Davidson biker be the most compassionate and understanding person. Don’t judge a cover by its looks people!

These two white men are truckers. Protests for #AntwonRose blocked the highway and these men, after 5 hours with protestors, saw the video for the first time and were moved to call for justice for Antwon.

“Something has got to be done. You just can’t be shooting people in the back.... three times.” I appreciate these men for their sense of compassion, understanding and patience. I hope they go back home and share this experience as spark dialogue in their communities.

I love guys like this... they're totally the reason why I spent a year in TX. These seemingly "simple" people are total gold. I'd truly like to see more of them featured on social media etc... it seemed like they made up the majority of the southern states to me. Good memories.

And why are they not normally part of/included in the discussion? Because they're busy working to provide for their families. and living their lives. And treating all those in their immediate vicinity well. We need to be reminded every day that people like this exist.

Yeah, they remind me of my uncle (also a truck driver, now retired). Decent people are the majority.

I think a lot of people don't see other "people" that they don't know, that are from somewhere else as not people, until they do suddenly.

And then it can't be unseen. People are people, are people, whoever they are, no matter their color, regardless of where they live. We are all fighting the same battles, some have it worse than others, some quite a lot worse which should make us compassionate if not generous.
