I've now been contacted by dozens of people from the East Pittsburgh area to say that police just shot two teenage boys in the back. According to family, one boy is 13 years old.pic.twitter.com/6yb42XATOS

"I understand people believe I' just a statistic" At such a young age, he already felt such pain. This is a black boy in
! Believe them when they say: they really don't care, but we must care & must do something to make things better for young Black boys like Antwon Rose.

just, like BELIEVE VICTIMS. Srsly, almost all women are being truthful re: their
#metoo
, almost all black people are being truthful about being targeted by police, 7 assumed guilty of offenses where they, statistically, are much more likely to be victims than culprits.

Crying at my desk. Our country is making my heart break for so many reasons today. Sending love and light to
#AntwonRose's family and friends, especially his mother. No parent should have to go through this hell.#BlackLivesMatter

My heart hurts. Police beat my son badly and we thought they would kill him. No mother should have to bury her son shot by those sworn to protect us. Praying for them to find peace in this madness.

We have to be the voice that is taken away in standing up for
#JusticeForAntwon.#JusticeForRefugees who are having their own children stripped away from them and put in detention centers. If you don't think it's coming for you next, you are mistaken.#DontBeASucker.#StayFreeThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

When I read the news report of this murder I could imagine the fear he felt and why he was scared and ran. This poem just said it in his own words. Words can't express what I feel for his mom. Thank you for sharing.
