I’m with you. Everyday I’m trying to fend off depression and anxiety over the state of things. You know more than most just how many are suffering these days. Thank you for not accepting the status quo. For being a changemaker. We must make this world better for the children.

Why can’t there be a special DNA Database set up to connect these kids to their parents?

Ok so what about their parents - I understand everyone has a soft spot for the kids but who is out here with the same level of worry for the Parents.

My heart feels like it was ripped still beating from my chest, stabbed and sliced all over, then shoved back in and forced to keep working, lacerated and bleeding as it was. All to the accompaniment of screams from parents and wails from their children. With no anesthetic.

Me too. Every morning, my two youngest children climb into our bed to start the day. This has become a profound moral conflict, one in which I struggle to reconcile the love and security of my children, with the crimes visited, repeatedly, on innocent others, by my government.

Ditto Shaun. Hard to hold back the images and the emotional angst knowing how they suffer and have No voice.

Same. My house has pictures of my 5 yr old granddaughter everywhere and all I can think of is children like her being essentially orphaned because of our government. I can’t wait to cast my vote in November.

I’m glad I am not the only one. I’ve been feeling this feeling on and off since January 2017.

It's the helplessness that gets to me. I can donate money, make calls, tweet, write letters. But the administration is determined and I feel like I cannot do enough to make a difference. We must keep trying but, yeah, I feel the same as you. I'm so sad right now.

I always worry about you and others like you that do your work. It’s so important, but I can’t imagine how taxing it can be on your mental health. I don’t have a solution, but I wanted to say how much I appreciate you and your work.

I can’t breathe anymore. It’s insane. How can we work, eat, think, knowing that thousands of kids have been abducted. Hard to believe this is America.
