This is exactly what I was thinking. Slave owners felt the same way diehard Trump voters feel. That POC's pain and tears aren't real and don't warrant any sympathy. Some believe their are doing the kids a favor since the parents were negligent in bringing then to the border.

Thanks for your support. But, it's not a Dem/Republican issue, or a red vs blue issue. It's an issue of human decency. It takes a special kind of coldhearted person to agree with, support, and promote what Trump and his administration is doing.

We had gun ralliesWhat actually happened? We had Tax Cut Rallies-what happened? We had Women's Marches-what happened. Policies didn't change. Just excited voters. But they were convenient to make us think we were doing something. #ShutItDown-be visible now. Days are being wasted.

Protests organize people. It lets us vent. It shows we have power, that we are fighting back, that come election time they will be u employed. There is power in numbers as they say. And we will prevail to change everything you mentioned.

and we love them as long as they fit conveniently into our lives. How many of us stood up and fight back immediately? Not many. We should have been in streets and surrounding Fed/DHS offices from the 1st day it hit the press. How many more children suffer as we fit it in.

I’m not going to judge anyone on their timing to take action. We don’t know what is happening in their lives, I know too many who are struggling with major challenges. I do know that people are mobilizing and will not let this stand. Thank you for what you’re doing in your town.
