Let me be very clear on something. Several brand new polls prove this... Tens of millions of Americans have no problem w/ what's going on at our border. Polls show 46% of Republicans, 25% of Independents, & 15% of Democrats are just fine with parents being separated from kids.
I just don't want you to have the impression that because ALL of your Facebook friends and everybody you follow on social media is appalled by kids being caged - that everybody in America is upset by it. Polls show most Americans are just fine with it. Trump knows this.
Previously, mainstream America made the mistake of thinking that racism and bigotry were fringe aspects of American culture. They aren't. And what we see now, with kids & parents being separated, and people put in literal cages... That's as old as the founding of this place.
I found out the hard way earlier this month in California, and like a complete dummy, it broke my heart. I was so naive. 20%-30% of Democrats, almost exclusively white, voted with Republicans to maintain the status quo of mass incarceration. They like it just the way it is.
Americans weren't on board with Civil Rights until they saw the children being brutalized by Bull Connor's police department. Jeff Sessions is the new Bull Connor and the brutality being foisted upon the children at the border are images that will be untenable.
Wow what a coincidence... These are the same exact numbers for people to be subjected to eternal damnation. Crazy!

The policy has been in place for years and no one has done anything about it. It’s not as bad as media is portraying it either.
We never learned from germany concentration camps, from slavery or from our japanese concentration camps, america was founded on racism.
I don't think it's most Americans, and the number of people that will identify themselves, and admit to being Republicans has fallen after 2016. I think the numbers of inhumane cruel Americans is closer to 30% total. Which is still heinous. We must beat them.
That's a lot, but thats not "most Americans". You can see there is a pattern which party is ok with it.
And that is sad and in my opinion EVIL! I wonder how those numbers would change if a child of theirs, a family member’s child, a friend’s child, a coworker’s child was taken away?
