THIS IS WILD. Police in Minnesota have been telling paramedics to give suspects a certain type of sedative - often used as a date rape drug - causing several people to have heart attacks and need to be revived. And nobody has been fired.https://www.kare11.com/article/news/report-minneapolis-cops-urged-ems-to-sedate-subjects/89-564527960 …

Police cannot be trusted and the "oath" they swore means nothing. Every ems/medical personnel that took part in this should be fired and jailed right along with every office that made the requests. The victims should also sue the hospital and police department

Why are cops giving medical advice? Why are paramedics listening to cops for medical advice? Why is a police department investigating itself?

This is just unbelievable to me. Any healthcare professional that take medication orders from a law enforcement official, follows it, and don’t report that official, needs to have whatever professional healthcare license or certification, YANKED! Wtf!?

If the paramedics did it they should be fired. Now police officers are giving directives on what meds to give people? I guess being judge jury and executioner is not enough, now they are playing doctor with the help of medics?

This is total bullshit and completely illegal as nobody except a MD can administer ketamine and that has to be with authorization of the patient and or family. Ketamine is also an hallucinogenic.

ketamine is approved by insurance and can cause memory loss. I wonder if this is a factor.

I'm sure the officers are also licensed physicians. Otherwise, it would be against the law for them to prescribe medication.

It's a shit show now non stop. Is all related to the feeling that nobody gets punished for fascist criminal acts authorized and encouraged by this administration.
