My gut tells me that if Bernie has the best chance of beating Trump, that most Democrats would still rather run somebody else and lose than run Bernie and win. He’s literally the most popular elected official in the country. He could beat Trump.
I think Trump is beatable, but I also think he is VERY formidable. He’s an immensely difficult opponent. He will be an even tougher opponent in 2020. I genuinely think only a few people can beat him. It’s a 50 State election. He won 30 states vs Clinton.
But as a party, what have we been preaching if we toss an old white guy out there again?

After 2016 I tossed all polls out the window. I like Bernie and I like Biden and wouldn’t be mad if either were the candidate. I would just be upset when either of them don’t win. What’s wrong with a Booker/Harris ticket? Why not Warren?

Yep. It's crazy that, yet again, Pollyanna Dems believe there's no way Trump could win again. It's that lazy overconfidence that got him elected in the first place. Add the huge swaths of Dems still trouncing @SenSanders & all signs are Dems STILL won't unite & get the job done.
