Separation of church and state is my point. Countering a biblical argument of how to govern with a biblical argument helps them chip away at our constitutional democracy. And puts us one step closer to a theocracy.

We're talking protecting children from harm, especially by this corrupt presidential adminstration and Congressional majority party. I think THAT should come first.

Shaun, perhaps more important if you interpret the passage that way, Jesus was himself in error throughout his entire adult life....he was breaking the laws on purpose, often to demonstrate that ethics are more important than textual legality

he used philosophical examples through parables to show justification for his breaking of man’s laws. i’m so blown away that jeff sessions quoted one verse by an apostle to justify these human rights atrocities when jesus Himself preached the opposite
