My God. Border patrol agents physically fought this man to pry his 3 year old son from his arms. He was here seeking asylum. Border patrol took the baby. They then shipped the man off away from his son and jailed him. And what becomes of these children? Do they become citizens? (As if they would want to). Or do we wait for a certain amount of time for them to grow up and then send them back to countries they don’t know, to families that don’t exist? And what happens when they come back, Again?
This family was applying for amnesty. They turned themselves in to legally begin the process. We treated them "like animals" which happens to be what Trump called undocumented immigrants at the border. Most democratic countries have amnesty. At least those who are humane.

You’re missing the point. We don’t separate and traumatize children to punish their parents. This is not who we are as a country. There is right and there is wrong. And this is wrong.

but these are the unfortunate laws that are in place. These are the laws that Trump is trying to reform, but is being met with ‘resistance’. These laws have been in place for many years. It’s only now that people are paying attention to it

Thanks! I’ll have to take some time to read through the 100+ pages, but after skimming through it, one would wonder why the hell someone would want to seek asylum in a country that would put something like this in place.
So will you now agree as these laws have been put in place under Trump that he is the swamp and you've been fooled into believing he was the solution? Will you stop blindly following and fact check what he and his boys say? Will you aim to be better?
