Y'all. I'm getting old. My oldest daughter is now 18, graduates high school in 2 weeks, and is about to go to her Senior Prom in a few minutes. Seriously - I can't believe it.

It's true I once traveled across the country (for the DNC convention) and stayed at my parents for ONE NIGHT. still did my laundry. Planned my entire trip around it.

Time just flies by. I can't believe I'm 64 and my oldest grandchild is 21. It went so fast. Do what you can to make a decent world for all, and make sure you hold onto you're family with all your might.

My son is 24, my daughter will be 17 in December. It’s shocking how quickly it went by. It’s also very difficult to avoid the realization that at 52 the majority of my life is over. The whole damn thing is a weird trip.
