A two-state solution will only work if Hamas doesn't want to eradicate Israel. Both sides need to work on this. Both sides are wrong. Both have to admit it when they are. Name calling, terrorist activity will not solve this. It will never bring peace.

I am a liberal and I am a (post)Zionist. Israel has a right to have a country. Israel has a right to self-defense. I also believe in a two-state situation. In fact, one was offered in 1947 by the U.N. It was refused by the Palestinians. I still believe there should be one.

Not that it should matter, but she was also wearing clothing clearly identifying her as a medic. IDF snipers are looking at Gazans through a scope, and would know exactly who they're shooting.

When I was a Paramedic, I learned very quickly that those who intend to murder someone do NOT want them getting help. Even in America, we were shot at by the perp who shot the guy we were trying to save. We hunkered down in our ambulance, prayed & waited for the cops.

Demonizing the other doesn't bring peace. Jews and Muslims are cousins. We are both from Abraham. It doesn't matter if you believe G-D is Allah or Hashem. It's the same G-D and all human lives have the same value. I wish everyone would see this. One day maybe they will.
