Talk about beating a dead horse at this point. He made a mistake, he’s human, let’s move on.

The weight of a mistake is enormous especially in the post season. To err is human, to forgive divine. No matter the outcome of the series, one fan base will be ecstatic, the other dissapointed. But in the end, the sun will rise and set and the hopes for next season can begin.

I bet you’re a Raptors fan like me because this is what I tell myself after every season.

I am....there's always next year is typically the

Everyone seems to forget if Hill would have made the ft, what followed the miss would have never happened......
-
Difference is missed FT’s happen. You should never not be aware of the score tho.

He's a professional not aware of the clock or score in the NBA FINALS. No need to feel srry for him, those mistakes are inexcusable

Yeah, it does suck that he wasn’t fully aware of the score in a championship game. I’m sure he feels better once the paycheck comes in.

If only there were big lights that showed the score at all times for the players and fans to see then this would not have happened...oh, wait.

Even if he took the shot, he wasn't guaranteed to make it. But I guess that's not the point here. We miss all the shots we don't take. It's crazy this man is catching so much heat when George Hill missed a free throw. A FREE THROW. I'm just saying.

It's absurd to me that JR is getting all of the heat for failing to properly react to a 90% free throw shooter choking on a game-winning freethrow. I think it may be because JR more closely resembles a stereotype that too many buy into, the 'gifted but not smart' black athlete.
