Something genuinely strange has happened. Woke up today to emails and tweets saying I am anti-Semitic. Which is weird, because I've been publicly & privately fighting against this bigotry for years. Here's the argument...

In February, when I did not forcefully denounce a friend, who did not forcefully denounce Louis Farrakhan, for him being anti-Semitic - that now means, through 6 degrees of Farrakhan separation, that I too am responsible for his words. Frankly, this is bullshit.

I reject every single anti-Semitic word, phrase, thought, dream, notion, or consideration from every single human being, including Louis Farrakhan, that has ever had such a thought. I loathe anti-Semitism. I hunt neo-Nazis as a hobby. Hoped my actions & heart were clear.

What's particularly weird about this new attack, calling me anti-Semitic, is that it is not based on anything new, but based on something that had already been settled months ago. The only thing new is that I am strong speaking out for the human rights of Palestinians & for BDS.

Here's the deal. I'm going to keep standing up for the human rights of Palestinians. And I'm going to keep hunting down and exposing Neo-Nazis. And you can love me or hate me - that's your choice - but I will let my actions speak for themselves every single day.

I have never met Louis Farrakhan. I am not responsible for anything he says or does. I am also not responsible for other people who may respect or admire him. If that issue is critical for you, and that's your business, you will have to take that up with them.

Who cares if you’ve never met The Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan. That has nothing to do with this weak thread. Why do you so-called activists start flip-flopping and fence-riding when it comes to Farrakhan? You’re only proving what he says about so-called Jews is right & exact.
