Something genuinely strange has happened. Woke up today to emails and tweets saying I am anti-Semitic. Which is weird, because I've been publicly & privately fighting against this bigotry for years. Here's the argument...

True, you personally aren’t responsible for anything someone says. The fact that you’re being charged with the same false charges of someone else b/c of another friend is ridiculous. Being “anti-Semitic” for standing up for Palestinians is one of those false charges you both face
-
That's all I am trying to get at.
-
However lol to say that you’re not “responsible for anti-semitism of Minister Farrakhan “ would imply that what he says was actually anti-Semitic... when it actually wasn’t... and, you yourself would agree with some of his views especially concerning Palestinians..
-
The fact that he is at all mentioned in a false charge of antisemitism contributes to the larger propaganda to defame him. If folks have a problem with what the Minister has said they don’t have to go to you but the false charges shouldn’t be agreed by you either. Thats a problem
-
And thats where “staying in your lane” can come in. Because this is also dealing with a larger false charge that goes back several decades. And it’s not like Minister Farrakhan hasn’t explained himself already before lol to “denounce him” is that contribution..
-
A lot activists, leaders, politicians, etc find it easier to separate themselves with the truth rather than to speak it. To denounce someone without a true knowledge and understanding of what was actually said unfortunately shows what side you’re on.
-
And brother.... why do you follow Minister Farrakhan on instagram then ...? I’m confused
-
Thank you for your input. I didn’t know how to properly explain to my friend why what he wrote was troublesome and all I had to do was show her your tweets.

I think the issue is kind of what you said some months ago.. that this man (Minister Farrakhan) means different things to different people. You saw one brother who said he actually saved his life. So understand the frustration of “denouncing him”...that it’s taken personal

You seem to want to skirt being accountable for labeling the words of Minister Farrakhan as "anti-Semitic." But that's exactly what you alledged. Just know that the move you just attempted will not help the cause of Justice. That's if you were sincere to begin with.

I don’t care what others said or say to you and I clearly understand what’s going on. We’re not new to this. That’s on you if you choose to buckle under the pressure of what they say. Leave The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan out of it. He’s a Truth Teller. Period.
