Something genuinely strange has happened. Woke up today to emails and tweets saying I am anti-Semitic. Which is weird, because I've been publicly & privately fighting against this bigotry for years. Here's the argument...

Someone said, "Shaun - you can't tell us what is or is not anti-Semitic." OK. Defining your oppression for yourself is your privilege. But if me not rejecting a person who did not reject a person who you say is anti-Semitic makes me anti-Semitic, then we do have a problem.

Shaun, with all due respect, you're leaving out a ton of context here. The reason Twitter blew up was because you blocked dozens of Jews on Twitter who were respectful in their critique. I know that you claim that's an accident, but this thread doesn't even acknowledge that.

To blame this on pro-Israel sentiment deflects any meaningful criticism by undermining the opinions of Jews who do not agree with you as if it were a mob mentality to "get you" for not agreeing with Israeli actions.

First: Obama killed brown people everywhere. He is not an example of anything pious Second: Supporting Palestinians is not anti-semitic, and if the government defines it that way, then the definition is wrong, not the support. You yourself supports Palestinians right to exist.

Oh well when you support taking away the right of Jews to their nation state you’re denying our right to self determination. He supports the likes of Tamika & Linda who demand Israel reject its Jewish status.
