Something genuinely strange has happened. Woke up today to emails and tweets saying I am anti-Semitic. Which is weird, because I've been publicly & privately fighting against this bigotry for years. Here's the argument...

Again - I will keep fighting against all bigotry of all kinds. I don't do it for the love or any accolades - Lord knows it puts me and my whole family in danger every day - I do it because it's the right thing to do and it must be done. //End of Thread

My man, you need to back down. 1. Farrakhan is indisputably anti-Semitic. It's not just her "saying it." It's HIM saying it. 2. It's not that you didn't "reject" Mallory; it's that you didn't clearly condemn Farrakhan's anti-Semitism AND seemed to double down on support

I think you should focus less on the implication that you are being called an antisemite and more on the criticism of supporting someone who supports someone with outspoken antisemitic views. Something you yourself would not support if the person you support supported Rosanne.

Again - it certainly does not make you an anti semite. But it does give us reason to be a little wary of your ally-ship. It erodes trust.

You condemn many others by association with the alt-right but you don't apply the same standards for yourself in regards to the alt-left. Farrakhan called us demons. This is anti Semitism by any standard, even yours. Full stop.

As a bi-racial Jewish man, I can confirm: Farrakhan IS anti-Semitic. This doesn’t change the fact that Israel’s treatment of Palestinians IS unjust & must be confronted, but let’s not treat Farakhan’s bigotry as just a matter of opinion. Both he & Israel are DEFINITELY wrong.

It's not just because you are friends with Tamika. You defended her and gaslighted Jews criticizing her. Now you're gaslighting Jews saying it is all one nefarious Pro-Israel agenda when criticisms of you had nothing to do with Israel. How do you not see how THAT is antisemitic?

Even in this post, you are not willing to call out Farrakhan for what he is. A bigot and anti-Semite. You are using verbal gymnastics to avoid calling him out. Why is it so damn difficult to say that he is a bigot?

Good question. If the roles were reversed, how many degrees of separation from the KKK would feel safe? Serious question.

I can guarantee if you spend practically every day speaking out, raising money, organizing, and doing everything in your power to fight racism, Shaun wouldn’t care who one of your friends might or might not agree with.
