Something genuinely strange has happened. Woke up today to emails and tweets saying I am anti-Semitic. Which is weird, because I've been publicly & privately fighting against this bigotry for years. Here's the argument...

Here's the deal. I'm going to keep standing up for the human rights of Palestinians. And I'm going to keep hunting down and exposing Neo-Nazis. And you can love me or hate me - that's your choice - but I will let my actions speak for themselves every single day.

I have never met Louis Farrakhan. I am not responsible for anything he says or does. I am also not responsible for other people who may respect or admire him. If that issue is critical for you, and that's your business, you will have to take that up with them.

I fundamentally reject the notion that fighting for the human rights and dignity of Palestinians makes anyone anti-Semitic. If you believe that, it's no different than people thinking those who hate police brutality hate white people.

Someone said, "Shaun - you can't tell us what is or is not anti-Semitic." OK. Defining your oppression for yourself is your privilege. But if me not rejecting a person who did not reject a person who you say is anti-Semitic makes me anti-Semitic, then we do have a problem.

Again - I will keep fighting against all bigotry of all kinds. I don't do it for the love or any accolades - Lord knows it puts me and my whole family in danger every day - I do it because it's the right thing to do and it must be done. //End of Thread

Yeah this is some fucking bullshit. I am against the occupation and killing of innocent Palestinians and have been called an anti Semite to. It’s insane.

I too support the Palestinians. I believe Israel needs to negotiate and find a peaceful solution. Netanyahu is wrong. But that does not make us anti- semitic

What is the statute of limitations on racism? A few months, you say?

Oh yes this is very problematic here in the UK too, you cannot criticise Israel without being labelled an anti-Semite, but this has nothing to do with the Judaic faith but to do with a Zionist agenda, which is completely right wing fascism https://www.facebook.com/clive.pottinger.14/videos/294439300749877/ …

*just as I figured, any criticism of Israel is automatically deemed antisemitic.

These Twitter swarms organize to attack their targets like angry bees. I got caught once in one of those Hillary-Bernie swarms. Can last for days

Riiiight wanting to destroy the ability of Jews to support themselves and make them vulnerable to their enemies is not ordinary antisemitism. It is hatred
